I wouldn't ignore buying in the cyclicals. They're the first things bought in a bear market, and can be a sign that the economy will be okay further down the road. Not saying that this is the bottom, just that that's one potentially good sign for an overall economic recovery. The market's a lot smarter than you or me, and the smart money saw a lot to like in the Beige Book...
