hoffy, your missing the point. It's not about YHOO at all. It's about the rest of the Nasdaq. The NASD obviously didn't want the press to focus on negative earnings and a search for a new CEO, probably because it would have caused investors to punch the sell button all day long in other stocks, for the simple reason that Yahoo is one of the biggest media companies around. Now why wouldn't the NASD want that, unless they were trying to protect institutions by allowing them to punch the sell button first, before other investors, or they were trying to protect positions from deteriorating in other issues they are already vested in. We will soon find out the answer in the next few trading days.
