I guess that management doesn't have any problem with what was already ordered, but the reality is probably that new orders are not entering as rapidly as a few months back.
Hell! look around you guys. NT, CSCO, AMAT, JDSU, ORCL, MSFT, you name it, they all have warned so far and could not forecast this short-fall coming. Cree is just not immune.
Now, what's good is that the company expects to post a profit despite the current weakness. Also, the balance sheet is extremely strong and should help management if it wants to make an acquisition.
We have to focus on the future here. If you believe that the stock was worth a buy at a higher price, you should still be a buyer at a lower price. |
