Hi energyplay,

Well....shit. Sold OEI and XTO a couple of days too early.

Regarding Shell and their purchase of Barrett. Let's not forget, this is an analyst speaking. It doesn't "change everything" that they're buying a North American gas property. It's not as if the CEO woke up in the morning, had a particularly satisfying dump after his coffee and eggs, and decided to pick up an E&P. These acquisitions take months, sometimes years, and establish a certain unique momentum along the way. And by the way, Shell historically has a notoriously bad track record when it comes to forecasting energy prices, especially when Moody-san opens his trap.

I sold off OEI and XTO because they were looking toppy to my untrained eye (still good'uns, though), and I plan on jumping back in with the next significant correction. Too well run, too much money.

Now I'm eyeballing WFT as a sell candidate, anybody have thoughts here?

Regards to all,

Aggie
