Thanks Bernard: In the 12/98 deal with Williams, Winstar sold an IRU for up to 2% of Winstar's local wireless fibre capacity for $400 mln. Could Winstar get anywhere near $400 mln for 2% of this capacity today? IYO, was the $400 mln in 12/98 an inflated amount offset by an inflated $643 mln IRU that Winstar bought from Williams for four strands of long haul dark fibre optic cable?

If Winstar could get anywhere near $400 mln for 2% of its capacity, sounds like a great deal to me. If so, then 8% would be $1.6 bln, enough to get Winstar to free cash flow positive. What do you think Winstar could get for 2% of its capacity today?
