Hi Pat,
I really don't care what Jenna's relationship is with SI. I also could care less what links she post in her headers. What I do care about is that people have been suspended for the same things that Jenna is doing.
SI Jeff said in his mail to me that advertising paid sites as well as others is over looked as long as the links leading to these sites also involve a discussion thread on SI. In fact he said Jenna has had her links posted since 1997.
For Jeff to say that this has been over looked since 1997 is at best stretching the truth. At worst it is an outright lie. I have seen more than one person get suspended or get their post deleted for posting links to other sites...paid or other wise.
Jeff suspended me for posting the entire text of Jenna's header on this thread. I would like him to show me in the TOU where it says that is a violation. Until he does that I feel he owes me an apology. I won't be holding my breath!
And now for your viewing pleasure...here is what Jeff felt was worth me getting a suspension. Good luck finding the violation in the SI TOU.
