Unfortunately, my only interest there is as a producer. Usually, I don't see them fly. Other senses detect their presence - like hearing and smell. <ROFLOL>

did you see those natural gas stocks fly? You really have to forget your obsession with tech and appreciate your national heritage
more. ;-)


With Hughes attempting to takeover Berkley and Shell taking a run at BRR, it brings to mind a comment from a portfolio manager today. "The bottom will be in when we see companies making strategic acquisitions" I think his context was that when the investors throw out enough babies with the bath water, knowledgeable companies will start snapping up the bargains.

That's happening in this sector as well with NVLS snapping up GSNX; KLIC grabbing CRPB and another private company (Probe Tech); the dutch attempting to grab SVGI; the automation sector grabbing companies primarily from the private sector; etc.

Perhaps we really are closer to the bottom than some of this thread's bears think.
