The boys in the bond pits have been warning the Japanese for many moons that if they don't clean up their act, their bonds will be non-sellable, irrespective of attached rates (I wrote about this well over a year ago). I guess change comes slowly in some settings.

It sure as heck underlines my comments of a day or so ago about Japan's imploding financial situation and the implications of same for the U.S. deficits.
