MB, I don't care what Consumer Reports rates when it comes to "reliability " among BMW, Benz,Volvo and etc, BMW is the worst in our family. M class is not great, but fairly priced for a truck compare to others by Weight. But in snow country like Minnesota, even S class is useless unless you have 4w on snow. There's one car I'm very impressed this winter is Impala(sp?). We Had to buy one extra car because of GM credit card rebate was going to expire after 5 yrs. Bipin and I did internet search last yr. He drove it once at a dealer's. Took care every thing over the net. When they delivered it to our driveway, I didn't even go out to listen to the guy's "how to" for I'd never even sit in that car. Well well well, we've been having heavy snow this winter. This red haired step kid US made Impala was the only one plowing through the snow. It's noisier than mercedes and that butt heater can cook hamburgers on it, but this is one smart CAR. It has more smart features than all of our toys combined for a fraction. Forget about Italian, German cars during winter. We sent mercedes to NY for Bipin to use when he's in town and Impala is sitting in my garage with garage opener #1.
