The threat I see for Nokia comes from Bluetooth. If and when the phone part is reduced to a small inexpensive transponder/relay unit sittin' in the shirt pocket or briefcase and the expensive media terminal with nifty interfaces is on the other end of the Bluetooth connection. Then we will see many companies producing such terminals. I hope Nokia can protect it self with unique functions, services, proprietary communication protocols, compression algorithms etc but if Bluetooth takes off, the door opens for competition on the terminal end.
