Yes, the comparisons between NASDAQ and NIKKEI are not valid, for the most part. Financial crisis in Tokyo could have a big impact on the US Markets, but drawing analogies between the NIKKEI charts and NASDAQ's is bunk- different reasons in both places for why things are happening.
