I a heartily agree, but not taking as much of their earnings in taxes should NOT be confused with giving them welfare.
Who says the conservative - liberal ideologies can never be reconciled? I have a simple, fair solution: It begins with a declaration of your political ideology..........liberal or conservative. Upon declaration, you would be automatically enrolled in one of two tax systems, one for liberals, one for conservatives. Liberals would have a minimum-max rate of 50 - 90%. Conservative rates would be from 15 - 30%. It would be close to net neutral, and everyone would be happy. Liberals would assuage their guilt feelings, conservatives could feel good about not perpetuating a quasi-socialist
ideology.
