Mr. Roth's letter simply ignores the simple facts-
(1) When the rest of the sector was crashing and the institutions were bailing out of NT, I was holding my position solely on the comments made by Mr. Roth and NT's consistent and repeated support of their original guidance.
(2) When the NT announcement of the guidance change hit the wires, I broke a land speed record getting to my PC and Charles Schwab and dumped my entire position at the market in after market trading. I have never never had to ever do this. But the point is, that the stage was set by Mr. Roth and NT that I could go to the bank on their reiterations of their previous guidance and the change was so dramatic that I reacted as if someone was shooting at me.
(3) Mr. Roth buying 35,000 shares at market and the Zurich deal with JDSU seem to imply something other than Mr. Roth tries to convey in his letter.
(4) Better keep me off the jury on this. I am undecided whether I will join in the class actions but I am thinking about it.
