Actually, a kid in Cincinnati ... 5 years old ... died about three weeks ago. Story made the evening TV news and was in both papers. The youngster and another little kid found a gun in his grandfather's closet, started playing with the gun ... one of them was shot and killed. Happens every day, Dave. Log on to Google and type in "deaths" and "guns" and "children" and you'll find all sorts of links, some with the statistics you seek.

For what it's worth, your "can you name two?" reasoning reminds me of the old joke.

Mother: "Son, eat your food. There are millions of Chinese children going hungry every night."

Kid: "Oh, yeah, name two!"

Every minute I waste on this worthless thread I am amazed at how many right-wingers bury their heads in sand or attempt to muddle the truth when confronted with reality.
