InSook, First, what I would look for in a car would be totally different if I still lived in Minnesota, or even in Philly or K.C. That ice and snow is the most dangerous stuff in the world. In Minnesota, it is often made worse by adding fog to the mix.

I read Consumer Reports on the Impala and they like it quite a bit. It has an excellent crash test and insurance paid out. I really wouldn't have guessed that it would do well in the snow, but then, I don't care in Houston. <g> I'm glad it does.
