mb, they made money due to consumer ignorance - the #1 profit generator. there was know history to base results on so everyone tried it b/c everyone else was doing it and it sounded "chic." now there is a history. net advertising sucks. can yahoo make money? i'm sure they can make pennies. abe lincoln doesn't make me go "ga ga," though.
