As for why Udata went with MUCP, I think we'll find out about that in due course.

All I can say is that the utility industry is a huge market. But I'm still confused as to whether this represents some new product, or another use for the set-top box, or ISP chip.

I have a feeling they can't say much at the moment. Probably in a quiet period as Belanger fulfills some necessary business.
