Poet,

I became frustrated by having to wade through tons of ads and testimonials whenever I received an email from them.

I receive several of these every day and now just delete without reading them. Many years ago when I worked in Regulation we did a study on the accuracy of advertised performance statistics. Almost all were either misleading, deceptive, or outright fraudulent and this included some household names. For the SEC to go after OI they must have been exceptionally bad.

Common sense should tell you that any advisory service having an exceptional track record will gain subscribers through word of mouth. The only testimonial I would trust is one from somebody I know that has been a subscriber. Even better is to become more knowledgeable yourself, make your own picks and only need data providers and scanning tools to help sift through the ever mounting information available.

Regards,

Ken
