This is the same alternate universe where those "MAKE MONEY FAST" e-mails actually work, right? >>> i'm lost on that one, but while we're at it, consider this: as a result of analyst x's recommendations, x's firm generates an additional $10 billion in revenues that filter down to their employees and shareholders. the recommendation subsequently goes south and 'the longs' lose $5 billion and 'the shorts' make $4 billion. who is the winner and who is the loser? since the the central discussion topic of this thread was shortselling and overvalued stocks, you should write mr. blodget and mr. bock (remember him?) a letter thanking them. chris
