Pravin:

"With earnings expectations for NSM and LSI at least 10 times less than for AMD next quarter, this market better decide if it wants to take NSM and LSI down to $10 or send AMD to $50. Otherwise, the value discrepancy would be too large for even the most myopic analyst."

I suspect you are right...AMD's all-time high is $97.50 last summer when they were earning at a rate of $0.60 per quarter in a robust environment...In the current worst environment in several years, they are poised to post $0.40 or better and are trading at $25.80...but what is even more irrational is the fact that AMD has proven itself as the leader in flash and microprocessor technology with leading edge product intros since last summer...Any uncertainty about AMD's "flash-in-the-pan" performance that was bandied about by the "Pauls" of the universe last summer, can no longer be taken seriously...AMD is a far superior company now than last summer yet trades $70 below its summer peak...From my perspective, the $97.50 is a much more accurate valuation based upon financial fundamentals, superb existing, evolving product lineups in both flash and microprocessor sectors and projected revenue growth rate of 25% for the foreseeable future than is the current $25.75!!! Looks like others are starting to get this message as well!!!
