mb, i don't typically buy from yahoo unless they are price competitive. price competitive on the net means - probably losing money, maybe breaking even or slight possibility of making a few pennies.

it has nothing to do with ad placement. it has to do with ad content and the ease of substituting stores on the net.

advertising to lose money doesn't seem like a long lasting proposition. neither does competing with amzn to see who can retail at a loss.
