John- There is a bull market going on here in certain sectors. It's pretty clear that it is not in tech. <g> quote.yahoo.com New highs on oil and cyclicals today. Big breakout on gold stocks. I am making money this year, and I made money last year in mostly the same stocks (except gold, which I held). This all appears very inflationary- except for the bond, which keeps rising due to defensive posturing. It is the most extended period in my memory that bonds have diverged from stocks. Do you recall anything similar? Maybe the mid 70's?? I almost posted about the flag forming on the XAU daily, but it's been so long since it broke the right direction that I decided not to. Next resistance looks like 63. siliconinvestor.com
