Streaming Quotes - Just wanted to clear some things up (even though a bit late). The email in question did NOT come from Medved QuoteTracker. DATEK sent out an email to everyone who registered with them for free streaming quotes, stating that they will no longer provide free streaming quotes to non-clients after March 31, 2001. QuoteTracker users were NOT singled out and DATEK account holders will still be able to use QuoteTracker to get streaming quotes and to trade through their DATEK account after March 31. The $500 is another item in that email. DATEK said that the account has to be funded with $500 to be able to receive streaming quotes. The money is NOT a fee for the quotes. A few users emailed us asking about streaming quotes after DATEK cuts theirs off. We provided a list of sources that can be used, but never implied that DATEK quotes were in any way associated with SI. Jerry Medved 2GK, Inc. quotetracker.com
