Hi Charles - Maybe the Fed will cut rates next week and SUNW will be valued based on their current business excluding Intel's problems. IMO, anything below $20 is a buying opportunity looking forward but many of the analysts view this sector as "dead money". The relative PE for SUNW based on next year's estimate is at an attractive price. However, the market will eventually determine what "fair value" is. This investor believes that we are close to a bottom and if this economy begins to turn higher SUNW will follow.

What's your take on this slow down lasting more than 2 quarters? That analyst from BofA says they see things getting much worse and in fact taking all of 2001 before we see an upturn. They downgraded CISCO accordingly. IMO we will see slower sales growth through 3qtr but not lasting through 2001. There is still a lot of uncertainty and until the guidance is clearer Sunw's stock price will continue to be depressed. Is this a buying opportunity?

Time will tell.....
