fyodor: Just got back in now...I see the usual knee jerk reaction to INTC woes...Saner heads will prevail overnight and AMD at $26 plus tomorrow is not an impossibility...In fact AMD at new near term high by the close tomorrow is not an impossibility from my perspective...AMD's Y2001 projection of $2.00 reaffirmed just 2 days ago is in stark contrast to INTC's plummeting forecast, and I just don't think savvy wallstreet investors can miss reading between the lines on this one...This may mark the day that the world is informed of the new order in the microprocessor sector... Concerning P4 and .13 mu, my guess is that "pretendium 4" is off to a woeful beginning and nothing, not even .13 mu, is likely to assist it in becoming a meaningful competitor to the Athy, palomino and their derivatives...I've said it before and it's probably worthwhile to say it again that from my perspective, AMD's short term duty is to ensure that INTC doesn't fall too hard too fast...that's not good for anyone...let INTC reap some profits in the server, mobile and workstation market places for a while until they find direction once again!!! Once again, just 2 companies headed in opposite directions, one large and one relatively small, for the time being!!!
