Investor's Business Daily March 8....It doesn't pay to ignore what the marekt's telling you about a stock no matter how great its reputation may be. Cisco Finished Wednesday 70% short of its March 24 peak. ..Investor's Business Daily March 1..Some pundits advise long-term holds. Buy a past winner at a bargain price and you'll hit a big wnner if you hold on long enough. Trouble is, some past winners never regain their old glory...Ignore the herd ...."X" zoomed out of a base and made a 13% gain in one day. The next day the stock skidded 6% on high volume. The day after it skidded 11% on even heavier volume, when the market turned sour. (so much for the "bullish engulfing" and technical breakouts)
