Some terrific posts here recently...I really think we are beginning to shine a spotlight on this whole situation. Predictably, there has been no response from SI to my question about the existence of any "arrangement" with either the Market Gems thread or with Pristine. It appears that's something we will have to keep exploring.

I strongly encourage everyone to use the link that was posted here recently to file a complaint with the SEC; the stance that calling "trading triggers" for money is not giving investment advice is interesting, to say the least...not to mention the disclosure issues it creates. The SEC has already determined that trading advice is indeed investrment advice, especially if financial compensation is involved. If this is an issue that concerns you, there is nothing more effective you can do than to file an on-line complaint; it takes about 2 minutes and will get this whole mess in front of the right eyes.

I strongly believe this is just the beginning of something we will be reading about in the newspaper a year from now.
