there's a more disturbing motive at work, namely that gold's role as an early warning indicator for overprinting of fiat money has been conveniently suppressed by the forward selling & leasing as well as the CB selling.

but if one wants to make money with it, the stocks are the way to go imo, i regard bullion more as an insurance for a worst case scenario/fiat system collapse. of course it's also a nice thing to own per se.
