Mike-- I'm also for excise taxes on luxury items! I want my car to ride on a good road! However, for ecological rreasons, I want SUV's to be treated as cars. We need to conserve energy and pollute less.

However, I do agree with Bush that we need to develop domestic oil reserves, including the arctic ones. Remember, it is the poor who pay proportionately more of their income for fuel. How many of the poor will take an Alaskan cruise?

I actually sympathize with those who are correctly focused on AMAT, but I can't resist.

AMAT in the 48's after-hours. Maybe I'll put off the car.
