PCCW (0008) to not intend to cut stakes in iLink (8107) 2001-03-09 11:24 (Infocast News) iLink (8107) chairman Mico Chung said that PCCW (0008) owns a 48% interest in the company at present. To what he is aware, PCCW has no intention to cut shares. He reiterated that the company will not have any business cooperation with Powerb@se, a subsidary of PCCW, because of discrepancy in client bases and markets. He added that the company in future will keep up business development and seek for strategic alliance with foreign companies. As to introducing strategic partners, the company yesterday has announced that Softbank Investment (0648) will take shares in the company. infocastfn.com
