PCCW, Ariba to Provide e-Procurement Services

Pacific Century CyberWorks (0008), a major Asian communications company which owns Hong Kong's largest phone company, said it has teamed up with Ariba, a B2B eCommerce platform and network services provider, to provide e-procurement turnkey solutions for Asia-Pacific businesses. The e-procurement services will target businesses of various sizes and types, especially those in the manufacturing, banking and finance, public utility and service industries, it said.
"PCCW's partnership with Ariba will enable enterprises to work with a single service provider on the entire e-procurement process, from workflow analysis, software procurement, system integration, implementation and ongoing enhancements to enabling the digital transformation of product catalogues," said Thomas Siu, president of PCCW Business eSolutions.
PCCW has become a Certified Ariba Systems Integrator in Asia ex-Japan, and will provide a full spectrum of B2B solutions, consultancy and implementation services, it said in a statement.
