Fred, these are a very limited group of the very same 4 or 5 frustrated individuals who have not been able to get anything going for themselves so they wander around like the 'SI deadbeats they are' and try to throw stones at the success of others, but all they do is get more frustrated because we go on as if they never existed.

Anyone who counts up their numerous SUSPENSIONS from SI as coups to be admired, and finds satisfaction just on starting arguments and trying to base on these boards, should have our sympathy and not our ire. As I said before counseling is much more expensive let them vent on their little portion of cyberspace.. There are many wonderful new things on our plates to even bother with these individuals who are a necessary evil in the cyberspace bulletin board world. Its not my world, its only a stop area for passing along messages.

I will keep them off the thread though. I don't have that much time to spare to have to read through wild rantings and raving of incoherence. I really enjoy reading the posts of our regulars who show intelligence and wit. That is where I draw the line. They can vent somewhere else. I'm sorry I let it go on that long. I was not even reading them until the end.

This forum on SI is just a bulletin board. For us its about 1/2 hour of the day, It certainly doesn't bother me. They have their own existence and 'social strata' on their thread(s). Ignore them, they need their avenues to vent as well. The amount of threads and the topics (Black Sabbath!!) shows the range of their talent, not to mention the profiles. SI needs them to drum up extra clicks, but forums like theirs have their 'audience' and I imagine its not as multifaceted as serious threads on SI but they want to be heard. And like the Jerry Springers, supermarket tabloids out there, someone pays attention.
