I agree as well. The concept and model of webvan will survive in some form. There will be a demand for this type of service. My hope for webvan is that they will partner with larger grocers (Albertson's, Kroger etc) who want to provide home delivery without the expense. Shaheen if your listening cut your salery pal and start smoozing it with Mr Safeway and Alberston's they could use you. How about a partnership with costco? Get bulk items from webvan without the lines. Your not walmart so dont try and think you exceed them. USe what you've built and sell it as an avenue for companies wanting to provide home delivery of their products. Amazon.com is getting smart on this.
