Hi Andrew, I'm afraid I've gotten very cynical on politics, both parties. The republicans are horrible, shifting wealth to the top 5-10% of the country doesnt build a sound economy. That little thing called Reaganomics was the biggest welfare (transfer) program ever invented, 275 Billion in interest payments per year with no associated production. But the democrats are all part of this process too, as are the voters. But the market usually does better under democratic presidents, an indicator I think that that party's economic bent is just a bit less hideous than the other party. Ever notice how every time the dems bump the minimum wage 20 or 30 cents the gop predicts economic ruin and the economy generally improves? Thats too much politics for a stock group, but I do think al gore might push alternative energy tax credits and that would be a boon for pcom and I'd make money and pay cap gains taxes and that would be just fine with me!!
