CR - Novatel - Ricochet metricom.com This company is all of a sudden getting a lot of coverage on some of the threads I look at. The CEO is John Major who was ex-Wireless Knowledge. They claim 128Kbps over a good number of major cities. Seems to be a wireless modem for notebooks. Are you familiar? What system is it using, CDMA? Any other views? I haven't looked into the monthly cost yet. I wish we didn't have to wait another six months for 1X from VZ or PCS. This delay is really miserable since if they really do achieve 128Kbps people will start using it and it may be easier to sign up than for a mobile phone which is somewhat more difficult to get than a handgun!!!
