Card costs.

I just ran across another article which details the merchant fees for using various cards for purchases.

Debit or credit card - signature based - face to face transaction with card swipe - 1.25% of the purchase price plus 10 cents

Debit card - pin based - face to face transaction with card swipe - 10 cents

Debit or credit card - internet purchase - no card swipe - 2 to 4% of the purchase price plus 10 cents

There is plenty of room for CKFR's PayAnyone to charge a profitable fee and still be very attractive to the merchant.
