Hmm. You can only take 3000 in capital losses above the line, I wonder if that will really translate into substantially more refunds for people who would normally owe. It doesn't seem to me it would; however, I am no CPA. Re the DOW. Considering it's at 10,800ish, I guess my call isn't that prescient<gg>. As far as being early, better a week early than a minute late (although I'm not sure that holds water so well for option players, lol). Good luck today. -dave
