Hi Warp. RE: <<Another day of nice oilpatch gains being wiped out by tech losses. >>

I think that calls for a celebration. (gg) Most techies would agree. The only thing holding me up is the oils and two biotechs that are swimming against the tides. As long as we have the chips to place our bets when the strong horses begin to pull up from the back of the crowd, we'll be in good shape.

It's interesting that the big players tried to force this rally to generate momentum and it ran head on into reality in the form of near and mid term warnings from yahoo and intel and in the form of rising wage costs and stronger employment numbers. I wanted it to run a little more but thought that if it did it would fall harder than I expect it will fall now. We'll see.

I can't see the scenario for deflation. The fed can spend or print it's way out of that problem but not without creating inflation. A topic I have posted on in the past. If anyone understands how this deflation scenario could occur, I would appreciate a good common sense explanation.

Joined those of you holding mvk, yesterday. Good luck. Ed
