You will want to check out these websites. They are the best sources to help you decide on what camera to get:

steves-digicams.com

dpreview.com

be sure to check out the News sections of these websites as they have updates on brand new models coming out soon. Also check out the Reviews sections as they will tell you EVERYTHING about these cameras. These two sites in particular blow ZDnet and CNet away for camera reviews and info.

It all basically comes down to how much you want to pay vs. the resolution and features. I bought my Epson 850Z (2 Mpixel, 3x optical zoom,) 1 1/2 years ago and still love it. It was $799 List Price at the time (I paid about $700 even) Don't ignore the Epsons. They are great cameras. Digicam prices have really come down lately so you should be able to find a real bargain somewhere.

Good luck
