Clinton was initially crucified by the Republicans because of his immorality. It became an obstruction-of-justice issue later, and Republicans (like you) seized the moment because the latter was a prosecuting offense.

As I have stated before (and been derided for doing so): It's healthy for the Democratic Party to have Clinton and Jackson knocked down a few notches. New leaders are emerging, like Sen. Conrad of N.D., who has been stating the Democrats' position on the Bush tax cut for the richest of the rich on numerous talk shows the past two or three weeks.

Re: "Isn't Jesse kinda dumb for being so closely wedded to the demolibs": Jesse's agenda and the Democrats' agenda overlap because both represent largely urban constituencies.
