Could be that Gap is just out of style. I'm not into fashion, though. Last I heard Abercrombie's was the hot place. As a middle class suburbanite, I will worry when Costco and Home Depot sales drop significantly. In fact, Maytag is expanding production. To me it looks more like things are cooling off, not going bust. thestreet.com
