when referring to lows in this market i'm currently only considering the short and medium term variety. at some point we WILL see a low that should hold for several weeks. i recommend looking at the 1930 Dow as a potential road map - there was one rally that eventuated close to the point where the NAZ is now and lasted about 8 1/2 weeks...that would be an intermediate term low. i'm sure it looked pretty convincing to people back then. however, it was just one of a number of traps...it is when people give up on trying to predict a low that a low usually takes shape.
