Heads up - It's AT&T again-
The last time AT&T figured in CIEN's future was during the disconnected merger with TLAB. On the very day that stockholders were going to vote on the merger, AT&T effectively kills the deal by bad mouthing CIEN's product and kicking them out of their testing lab. A lot of people suspected LU as the real cause of this disaster. At any rate, I lost so much money when CIEN tanked that I was forced to average all the way down to $8 a share in order to get a decent cost basis. Fortunately, I liquidated last year well ahead of the game so I say thank you AT&T for your actions. The question now I face is CIEN going to close the AT&T opportunity? It looks like LU and NT are flat on their fannies and CIEN has the product, references, and momentum. If CIEN can escape the "guilt by association" witch hunt going on now, then their future looks very promising and the stock price should reflect this in a couple of quarters.
