If you were to harvest gold from used HIV tests I would imagine that you would be heading out of business. In fact, the thought is so worrisome that imho it would make all used and/or recycled gold suspect. It might even be a boon to newly mined 'pure' gold.

Not trying to undermine you. It's just that I have heard that metals once used by HIV positives carry a very high risk.......i.e. sharing earrings and needles can spread the disease.
