That's your wishful thinking chic. It's just a commentary on the value I place on the fundamental analyses I've read from you over the past few months.

Last I heard from Sun was from Ed Zander. He made the official announcement of USII availability. It was in the middle of the year 2000, as I recall. He said that USIII workstations were to be in shipment by the last calendar quarter of 2000 (they were), and that the servers were to be shipped 1st or 2nd calendar quarter of 2001. It looks like they are on target.

What do you mean by "supposed to be out in 1998"? They are "supposed to be out" when Sun announces that they are going to be shipped by a certain date. Their USII's have been selling out since 1998. Why in the world would they announce availability until they were ready to market a new product with all the upgrades? For all we know, maybe they slowed everything down, or maybe they were doing more reliability testing. Sun is a real stickler for high availability boxes. It was worth the wait & it looks like their timing is excellent. Profits never suffered. I don't call that an "execution problem" that's market savvy. You need to take a course in basic business, chic.
