If I was holding a lot of inventory you can bet my demand from my supplier and vendors is going to decrease. Maybe thats what he meant. That doesn't really answer the question. Why were you holding a lot of inventory? It was because you weren't expecting the demand from your customers to subside. You didn't just build inventories for fun. A certain demand was expected, and it wasn't met, resulting in inventory build-up. The inventory build-up didn't cause your customers' demand to decline. Ali
