Dipy: Obviously with today's announcement by Cisco, the spectre of a world wide recession looms. And quite frankly, I for one greet it because I feel that in certain ways, we (the United States) as a nation were beginning to lose our moral compass. Hard times have a way of bringing the best our of people.

Getting back to this thread, I can't think of a better place to be than the semis, since semis are always the first to tank in a recessionary market, and the first to pop PRIOR to recovery. Given the outlook dimming for the second half, it is very possible that LSI will see single digits, and that the NAZ will almost certainly go below 2000. And while I have some crow to eat about my assertion that it would never go below 2000, I am very much looking forward to putting my 80% available non-long term investing cash to use soon. For example, if I were lucky enough to bag LSI at 9 to 12, I will almost assuredly get a three or even four bagger. As you may recall, I was in LSI at 34 for the same number of shares that I was originally in when I bought the stock at a split adjusted 8, and I took a loss to marginally offset my capital gains. From there I went into NSM at about 18 for the same number of shares. Thus, I hold a loss of about $12 per share between the two stocks. Thus, I am looking forward to plowing some very serious cash into Ms LSI sometime in the near future, IF it treads below $12.

Regards

JH
