Hi Jacob, I sold out this morning before going to work at 11.40..didn't have time to monitor the market much so I thought i would cash in...looks like like i should have held longer but with the expiry next week, i did not want to risk any short ramp up ruining a nice play...you are right, it is starting to feel like gambling...as far as shorting, I am not sure I want to keep going back to the well on the short side, i will get bitten once...i liked your short of AMAT...i wanted to short SMH (the tracking stock for semis) but after today not sure what downside is left and the bounces up are irritating...while i have made some decent money in the last 2 weeks buying puts, i wouldn't mind playing the long side, assuming the market would cooperate :) Have a good weekend..
