Wrong again flap. Here is what you said in your original post. It was only after Dave challenged you on the numbers that you posted the second one which you describe. You originally spoke the numbers as fact. And they would have stayed posted that way unless a "radical right winger" educated you.

res- But as we found out on Nov. 7, raw numbers must be broken down into meaningful terms for the power base to become established. Al Gore garnered 1.5 million or so more votes than his opponent, but GWB won the greater number of states.

Now, was this post a lie, or just one of those Clinton language definition things? LOL

res - My original post said, word for word: "Last numbers I saw in January showed Gore's popular vote margin somewhere around 1.6 million, based on the California absentees. If I am wrong, please correct me."
