All you need to know about Greenspan.

In late 1998 a Hedge Fund (Long Term Capital Management) was in trouble, Greenspan cut rates 3 times in rapid fashion.

In 2001 the American Economy and Greenspan has cut rates 2 times quite grudgingly.
